I am pleased and honored to announce to the IAABO 134 family that Mr. Terry Glass has been assigned by the NCAA to officiate in the Women’s D-III FINAL FOUR tournament at Hope College in Holland, Michigan on March 16-17, 2012. New Balance Partnership

IAABO # 134 is in the process of trying to solicit a partnership with New Balance. The New Balance representative has contacted me on numerous occasions to see what he could do to partnership. In the midst of trying to work out this partnership we are trying to see how many officials are interested in being a part of wearing New Balance apparel. They are offering officials 30% off the retail prices. For example if the shoes cost $90.00 than we will pay around $65.00 and the sweats that cost $110.00 will cost us around $80.00 or $85.00. We have invited the representative Mel who is the rep for New Balance to come out and take orders if we are willing to participate at the next business meeting. Hello All: I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you that has worked so hard this season. We know that it has been a challenge but once again the members of 134 has rose to the challenge. It is with great anticipation that I look forward to seeing the officials working the playoffs and preparing for the states. Christmas Tournament and Happy New Year...

Good Morning All: I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank all of you that made this tournament a success. Special thanks to Tonya and her committee and all the volunteers. Also, wanted to thank all of the officials that worked the tournament for PG County School(Mr. Earl Hawkins) that was held at Wise this week. First Annual Middle School Fall League...

On Tuesday, October 21st Friendship Edison Charter School won the IAABO 134 First Annual Middle School Fall League. The league was held at Drew Freeman Middle School and there were six teams participating. Those teams were host school Drew Freeman, Princeton Day from Lanham, Riverdale Baptist, James Madison, Friendship Edison and Kettering Middle. The purpose of the league was to conduct three person training for those officials in their second to seventh year of officiating. All games were taped and each official was given handouts with valuable information to help them for the upcoming season.
